23 November 2010
Global property group Goodman has let 13,000 sq ft of office space at its Oxford Business Park to Grant Thornton UK LLP, one of the UK’s leading financial and business advisers.
The firm, which has 30 locations nationwide, is relocating from its current premises at Botley in Oxford to Oxford Business Park, on the edge of the city centre.
Grant Thornton will occupy part of the first floor and the whole of the 2nd floor of Building 3140 Rowan Place, Oxford Business Park, joining a range of high profile organisations already based on the park including Oxfam, Harley Davidson, BT, Royal Mail and British Gas.
Wendy Hart, Grant Thornton’s Oxford Office Managing Partner, said: "Grant Thornton has been in Oxford for over 100 years and in our current Botley offices for the last 25 of those. While we will be sorry to say goodbye to West Oxford we are excited about moving into a fabulous new Goodman building at a location which is already a key business centre for Oxford. The move underpins Grant Thornton's commitment to the Oxford market and to the high quality experience we want for our staff and for visiting clients".
James Raven, development director at Goodman, said: “Oxford Business Park is already home to a host of well known brands and sector leaders. Grant Thornton certainly fits very well into this category and we are delighted to welcome them to the park.”
Oxford Business Park is a premier business location which provides a workplace for over 40 companies employing over 4,500 people. The park comprises 88 acres, offering high quality office space and on-site amenities including hotel, restaurant, day nursery, and health and fitness centre.
