Background

Following the Manches merger with another established Oxford firm the operation was split over 5 separate offices that worked independently.

Manches Objectives

To create a more inclusive, integrated firm, bringing all 5 offices together in a high profile office.

Manches wanted to be near to their client base, whilst having the best access to and from the City Centre and via the ring road to the nearby motorways.

The Goodman Solution

Manches required space to grow into within a new building and therefore Goodman assisted by agreeing to take back the ground floor accommodation for an agreed period to assist with this planned expansion.

This approach provided essential flexibility for Manches, ensuring that all future growth could be housed under the same roof.

The Result

The design team obtained reserved matters consent in December 2002 and completed the build to Category B specification, on time and on budget, within 43 weeks.

Since completion of the build in January 2005, Goodman have provided a full Facilities Management Service via our dedicated on Park Management Team, allowing Manches to focus on core business and maintain the highest quality working environment.

The Feedback

Departments are more integrated, facilitating a large volume of cross selling and business development. The building continues to impress their clients and is used by many in their marketing material.
